What a team and what a coach. Tark the Shark and his band of merry men took the nation by storm and excited us all. Easy Eddie Owens, Glen "Gondo" Gondrezick, Big Lew Brown, Tony Smith, Larry "Mighty Mo" Moffett, Robert "Stick" Smith, Sudden Sam Smith, and Reggie "Dr. T" Theus took North Carolina to the limit but came up a little short that day 84-83 in the 1977 NCAA semifinals.
